Ruda Santos
Writer/Director
Rudá is a Brazilian-British writer and director working across film and commercials. He studied film at the BFI and NFTS, and has had films commissioned by Tate Modern and Institute of Contemporary Arts, Channel 4 and ITV, and Dazed, Nowness. He has made films for Nike, Wetransfer, and Dr Martens. The unifying theme across his work, regardless of its medium, is finding magic in the mundane.

Gage Oxley
Writer/Director
As a young, gay, disabled, non-binary person from a council estate in East Leeds, Gage has experience of not quite fitting in. For the last sixteen years they have been making films on no budget which have gone on to festivals worldwide, won awards, sparked protests, directly offered mental health support, and have given opportunities for gay kids to safely come out to their parents. They set up their organisation, Oxygen, when they were seventeen out of a need to offer entry level film production work to emerging film talent, specifically those who are systemically excluded from the industry due to structural barriers.

Liz Cartwright
Writer/Director
Graduating in 2021 from the University of Gloucestershire, Liz is an award winning Writer/Director of comedy and drama short films based in the midlands. Liz is currently developing her next short film BUTTY, and a TV Sitcom called 4 Virgins and Me (loosely based on Liz’s own experiences at University) with Sandwich Club Productions.

Josh Trigg
Writer/Director
Josh is a London based writer and director working in the branded and commercial spaces through his company Geronimo Boy Films, alongside creating and developing his own feature film and TV projects.
Josh has a deep love of film and cameras and uses a range of photographic techniques that bring his films to life, creating beautiful nostalgic images for the screen. He has worked extensively across Asia and his debut feature film Satu: Year of the Rabbit was shot entirely on 16mm film on location in Laos.

Alex Deitsch
Writer/Director
Always keen to experiment, Alex Deitsch is a young filmmaker whose previous work has demonstrated a strong grip on both narrative and visual design. He currently works on a variety of freelance jobs whilst developing and directing his own projects.
Alex's short films have played at the BFI, Roundhouse and BAFTA-Qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival. In 2019 he was awarded the BFI Future Film Lab Award. His latest film, Symbols is currently on the festival circuit.

Sam Judd
Writer/Director
Sam is a writer, director and comedian who has made a number of short films and regularly performs live comedy around the UK and as part of his “You Can Laugh, You Know” comedy nights that showcases disabled comedians. Sam has been a young programmer for BFI Film Academy supporting London Film Festival and the BFI Future Film Festival, as well as programming for Leeds Young Film. He was part of the 2021 LFF Film critics mentoring programme and has written for Sight and Sound and Little White Lies.

David works has directed commercials and branded content for DoorDash, Coinbase, Current, PBS and other internationally recognized companies and organizations. His short film Rock Springs debuted at. The BFI Future Film Festival winning a special mention in the Best International Short Film category. David is currently developing a number of projects with Sandwich Club Productions.
