  • Graduating in 2021 from the University of Gloucestershire, Liz is an award winning Writer/Director of comedy and drama short films based in the midlands. Liz is currently developing her next short film BUTTY, and a TV Sitcom called 4 Virgins and Me (loosely based on Liz’s own experiences at University) with Sandwich Club Productions..

4 Virgins and Me

  • 4 Virgins & Me is a British sitcom that delves into the complexity and hilarity of 4 virginal teenage boys through the eyes of their female flatmate Poppy.

    When Poppy moves into her last-minute, and very grotty university halls, she is ready to reinvent herself and make some friends for life. However, she is quickly disappointed to find her new house mates are 4 immature and horny boys. With no clue on how to approach girls and each dying to lose their V card, they look to Poppy to teach them about all thing’s femininity.

Butty

  • When a teenage girl moves into her estranged dad’s flat, their awkward relationship begins to develop through the bacon butties they share. But the sauce on their butties isn’t the only difference in opinion. A comedic ‘fly on the wall’ look at a father-daughter relationship told entirely from the kitchen table.

Josh Trigg

  • Josh is a London based writer and director working in the branded and commercial spaces through his company Geronimo Boy Films, alongside creating and developing his own feature film and TV projects.

    Josh has a deep love of film and cameras and uses a range of photographic techniques that bring his films to life, creating beautiful nostalgic images for the screen. He has worked extensively across Asia and his debut feature film Satu: Year of the Rabbit was shot entirely on 16mm film on location in Laos.

Running in Water

  • Jim is a talented rugby player with his whole life ahead of him, but due to medical complications loses both his legs at just 20 years old. Living through the pain and

    the sadness, Jim gets obsessed with playing wheelchair rugby, to find a new meaning in life and reach the top of the Tokyo Paralympics.

Drumming Session No.3

  • Torn from their bombed out homes in Ukraine and displaced in Birmingham, six friends get the punk band back together with the help of Alex, the drummer’s father.

    This coming-of-age, true story tells the journey of an incredible feat of humanity, love, and the JOY OF MUSIC.

Daria King

  • Daria is a writer, producer and actress. She earned her degree in Opera and Musical Theatre Directing after successfully debuting her production of the European premiere of the opera Yerma. As a writer, Daria excels at devising visuals matched seamlessly with the human complexities in societal contexts to create works spanning voice, body and narrative. She studied at Arts Educational Schools in London and holds master’s degrees in both Sociology and Acting. Daria has several projects in development as well as the upcoming short film The In-Laws.

David Bartkiewicz

  • David is an award Winning filmmaker and artist. He studied Art from an early age and Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins which gave him the creative freedom and experiences to shape his artistic vision as a filmmaker. David also studied Film Production at Ravensbourne University

The In-Laws

  • An original short film co-written by Daria and David exploring themes of class, fitting in, and mental health The In-Laws is a dark comedy that digs it’s claws into familial relationships from the perspective of an outsider coming in. Daria stars and David directs bringing their unique Polish perspective to the realms of British “polite” society.

    The In-Laws is due to begin filming in 2024.

  • Allix is a technologist, writer and game designer with an academic background focused on AI, VR, media and web technolo- gies - credited with delivering various design innovations for Playstation, including web browser design, system UI, and UGC side- loading systems.

    Allix is fascinated with the connections be- tween things, and is a walking genre media and speculative fiction reference guide and global politics wonk.

alfie Dennen

  • Alfie is an award winning social activist, technologist and game designer.

    His projects focus on the intersection of media and art, and he has had work acquired by the Museum of London’s permanent collection.

    Alfie is a life-long science fiction enthusiast, most recently resulting in the creation of the near-future-set board game, Evil Corp.

  • Based on the award-winning board game Evil Corp. Six ‘hero-messiah’ tech trillionaires race toward immortality, but their plans for global dominion are threatened when a dying prisoner becomes the unexpected host of the world’s first true AI, igniting a struggle over who — or what — will shape humanity’s future. Starting in the near future Arc will explore the future of humanity like you’ve never seen before.

Sam Judd

  • Sam is a writer, director and comedian who has made a number of short films and regularly performs live comedy around the UK and as part of his “You Can Laugh, You Know” comedy nights that showcases disabled comedians. Sam has been a young programmer for BFI Film Academy supporting London Film Festival and the BFI Future Film Festival, as well as programming for Leeds Young Film. He was part of the 2021 LFF Film critics mentoring programme and has written for Sight and Sound and Little White Lies.

    My Friend Orson Welles will be Sam’s debut feature script which is currently in development.

My Friend Orson Welles

  • A struggling dreamer with aspirations of becoming a screenwriter deals with the harsh realities of life as a wheelchair user in contemporary society. While pursuing his dream, he discovers his true feelings for his childhood friend, all under the tutelage of an imaginary Orson Welles.

    Set in Leeds and with an ambition to train and employ disabled crew throughout the life-cycle of the film, My Friend Orson Welles is a contemporary British romantic comedy that embraces film culture and challenges stereotypes.

    My Friend Orson Welles is currently in development as both a short and a feature film.

Ruda Santos

  • Rudá is a Brazilian-British writer and director working across film and commercials. He studied film at the BFI and NFTS, and has had films commissioned by Tate Modern and Institute of Contemporary Arts, Channel 4 and ITV, and Dazed, Nowness. He has made films for Nike, Wetransfer, and Dr Martens. The unifying theme across his work, regardless of its medium, is finding magic in the mundane.

17 Brothers

  • A 12-year-old piano prodigy is condemned to die in a divinely-ordained population control scheme, inspiring his parents to join a protest group and challenge the system head-on.

aLex deitsch

  • Always keen to experiment, Alex Deitsch is a young filmmaker whose previous work has demonstrated a strong grip on both narrative and visual design. He currently works on a variety of freelance jobs whilst developing and directing his own projects.

    Alex's short films have played at the BFI, Roundhouse and BAFTA-Qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival. In 2019 he was awarded the BFI Future Film Lab Award. His latest film, Symbols is currently on the festival circuit.

Reflex

  • Reflex, is a short film about Ben, a young photographer. After his camera gets stolen, Ben has a chance encounter with a blind man. Over the course of a few hours, the two evaluate their states of loneliness.

Gage Oxley

  • As a young, gay, disabled, non-binary person from a council estate in East Leeds, Gage has experience of not quite fitting in. For the last sixteen years they have been making films on no budget which have gone on to festivals worldwide, won awards, sparked protests, directly offered mental health support, and have given opportunities for gay kids to safely come out to their parents. They set up their organisation, Oxygen, when they were seventeen out of a need to offer entry level film production work to emerging film talent, specifically those who are systemically excluded from the industry due to structural barriers.

Nosebleed

  • Nosebleed explores the deepest, darkest facets of online life through the eyes of Victor - a content reviewer for the largest social media networks. Faced with watching the most explicit, deranged and inhumane aspects of the world around him, Victor slowly ingratiates in a dark-web subculture

    promoting and creating sexually ‘perverse’ content, utilising modern technologies such as AI and hidden cameras to satisfy their members.
